Founder Story
Zabu Kids was founded by Sabarres T, a Textile Engineer from Karur, Tamil Nadu, a city well known for its strong textile heritage.
Coming from a lower middle-class family, Sabarres grew up closely connected to the textile industry. After completing his textile engineering studies, he worked for 6 years as a textile merchandiser, gaining hands-on experience in fabrics, production, quality, and garment manufacturing.
With a passion for building his own brand, he launched an adult T-shirt brand called The Sale Fashion. Like many first ventures, the journey came with challenges and eventually the brand did not succeed.
But that experience became the biggest learning.
Using his industry knowledge and real manufacturing experience, Sabarres started Zabu Kids with a clear goal — to create comfortable, safe, and thoughtfully designed clothing for babies and kids.
Every product is developed with attention to fabric softness, breathability, and child comfort, because kids deserve clothing that is gentle on their skin and easy for everyday wear.
Zabu Kids represents a journey of learning, resilience, and passion for textiles, bringing carefully made kidswear from the textile hub of Tamil Nadu to families everywhere.
